Global Health

under construction

The Declaration of Alma Ata (September 1978) expressed the need for urgent action by all governments, all health and development workers, and the world community to protect and promote the health of all the people of the world.

That this challenge is multi-faceted and complex is clear from the number of publications that are concerned with health care. Just a few relevant publications can be accessed at: Integrative Expertise for Global Health (citeulike group).

The promise of well-delineated, well-provided knowledge commons is the low-cost, situation-specific bridging of the know-do gap (for publications on this gap, see: http://www.citeulike.org/group/4365/tag/know-do-gap).
